I saw the Pretenders at First Avenue in Minneapolis last night and Chrissie Hynde was in fine voice and form, especially for someone who's 57. I have to admit, though, I did think about the Tracterz a number of times, especially during Message of Love and Thumbelina. They didn't play Middle of the Road for some reason, which was kind of disappointing.

My good friend Jeff gave me a no cover no minimum tracterz disc a couple of weeks ago. We mostly saw them play in southeastern SD and northeastern NE. Any chance of a reunion show or induction to SD rock and roll hall of fame?
Hi Kids! Steve from The Tracterz here.. Too flattering but cool that people remember. I'm thinking a bit too soon on the RnR Hall of Fame thing, but I did attend the event. Pretty cool.
Since I see that Brad has plugged his band I will plug my newest and most satisfying venture "Big Red Rawkit Riot". 3 piece rockabilly. You can find us on myspace or google us. I kinda like being googled. But really, it is too cool that people remember and appreciate what we did. You can track me down at stevemartinislounge@yahoo.com unless it involves a very late paternity suit from the 80's!
Good night everybody!!
IS there a SD rock and roll hall of fame? I can't imagine it would take too big a building to house it. That said, a friend just sent me a neat documentary he filmed about Rich Show of No direction/Flag With Hank/Violet fame, so there are at least a few potential inductees out there.
Steve I'll keep an eye out for your new band when I'm visiting SD sometime and let me know if you ever hit the road and head to Minneapolis.
Steve. This is Deirdre. There is something I have to tell you. You better sit down... Circa 1980....
